Lash lift aftercare — gym & sauna, Langford
Serving Greater Victoria · Langford · 814 Goldstream Ave

A lash lift is made for real life — work, rain, and yes, the gym — but the first 24–48 hours are when the curl sets. At Julia's Lash & Brow on Goldstream in Langford, we set your natural lashes upward so they stay visible past the lid; aftercare is mostly about keeping water and heat gentle while that set holds.

The first day or two

Skip long hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, and swimming if you can. Pat your face dry instead of rubbing your eyes. Sleep on your back if it is easy; if you are a side sleeper, a soft eye mask can keep lashes from getting crushed into the pillow.

Gym, sweat, and West Coast weather

Light sweat after the initial window is usually fine — blot, do not scrub. If you hot-yoga daily, book your lift on a rest day so you are not heading straight into a humid room. Rain itself is not the enemy; steam is. The same goes for kitchen steam and long baths.

When to book your next lift

Most guests enjoy the curl for several weeks before growth makes a refresh worthwhile — we will tell you what we are seeing at your appointment. New to lifts? Our lash lift in Langford piece explains what “natural” looks like here. Ready to schedule around your training week? Book online and note any sensitivities in the comments — we would rather plan it once than fix a rushed set.
